how it started...

The ocean has always felt like home to me. The smell of saltwater alone can quiet my mind. Something about standing near the water resets my nervous system and reminds me what actually matters.

After fifteen years in corporate life, that pull toward the ocean only grew stronger. I found myself longing for depth, not just in work but in experience. I did not want to just sit by the water anymore. I wanted to enter it.

On my second trip to Fiji, I earned my PADI certification and descended beneath the surface for the first time. It was not dramatic. It was clarifying. Weightless, steady, quiet. I remember thinking that this was where I was meant to be.

Since then, I have dived in Turks and Caicos, Okinawa, Cancun, Catalina, Curacao, and beyond. Every reef has its own personality. Every dive sharpens your awareness. And every detail still excites me. The right mask. The right fins. The way gear performs. The difference between an average dive shop and one that truly cares.

Researching new destinations, testing equipment, learning the nuances of currents and reef conditions is not work to me. It is part of the joy. Indigo Palm Trees exists because I want to share that passion and make the path into scubadiving and coastal travel clearer for others.

The ocean changed my life. If you feel that pull too, you are in the right place.

Our mission

We want to make ocean-driven escapes feel intentional, informed, and within reach. Planning a dive trip or waterfront getaway should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Our mission is to replace scattered advice with clarity, share trusted guidance rooted in real experience, and help people step into their time off with confidence and ease.

Our vision

We want to build a trusted home for divers and coastal travelers who crave depth over noise. A place where blue water is not just a backdrop, but a reset. Over time, this becomes more than a travel resource. It becomes a quiet reminder that a well-designed life includes space to breathe, explore, and return changed.
